Eclair problems were fixed...well...almost

Finally I was able to find some time to work on the backwards compatibility problems which caused Eclair (i.e Droid) users to get force closed when trying to configure tapping contacts.

I had to choose between uploading another application dedicated to work on Eclair or writing ugly code.
As I don't want to install a new version of windows on each bug fix, I decided to go with the ugly code.
So, no more Eclair problems? not quite. Right now I'm having troubles loading the contacts photos when tapping the screen (only on Eclair).

I decided to change icon as part of this upgrade since for my opinion it might not blend well with some background.

So, all Droid owners (which I envy), you're invited to check-out v1.1.

Eclair Compatability Problems

Hi,
So, one week since TapnCall was uploaded, I've started to get some feedbacks.
There are some nice suggestions for next versions which I hope to publish very soon.

Some of the feedbacks reported that they are facing troubles running the application on Droid.
Apparently Android 2.0 (Eclair) has some backwards compatibility problems. Some of the APIs from 1.5 and 1.6 are no longer supported.

I'm already working on fixing this problem and adding some other new features.
I hope the upgrade will be available next week.

Hi,
Lior...that's me, Software Engineer, 31 years old, father of my amazing baby boy Yuval and married to my wonderful wife Tal.

Well, lets talk business.
Touch pads are great, like we forgot how mankind was able to manage without cellular phones, I already forgot how I was able to operate my key pad cellular phones :-)
However, how many times did you try to type a phone number or write an SMS without looking at your super advanced touch pad phone?
I was never able to perform this task without the need to re-type...again...and again.

So, TapnCall will try helping you out.
With TapnCall you'll be able to perform calls by simply tapping at any point on the screen.

Android market...here we come.
